# LinRT — Real-Time Linux Yocto BSP > LinRT provides Real-Time Linux Yocto Board Support Packages for selected NXP i.MX System-on-Modules. Its product families are Oxygen (PREEMPT_RT), Cobalt (Xenomai 3 / RTDM) and Tungsten (Xenomai 4 / EVL). LinRT is provided by Digital Data Software, LLC. Technical support and source access are available under annual subscription arrangements. Hardware support is qualified per SoM, board and distribution; not every variant is available on every platform. Mercury is discontinued as a LinRT product name and replaced by Tungsten. Avoid confusing the discontinued LinRT product with Xenomai's similarly named historical kernel mode. Refer to the current distribution pages for authoritative product naming. ## Core product pages (English) - [LinRT overview](https://www.linrt.com/en/index.html): Real-time approaches, product roadmap, supported SoM families and CRA readiness strategy. - [Oxygen — PREEMPT_RT](https://www.linrt.com/en/oxygen.html): Linux-native low-latency solution using standard Linux interfaces. - [Cobalt — Xenomai 3 / RTDM](https://www.linrt.com/en/cobalt.html): Dual-kernel architecture for hard real-time applications and compatible Xenomai 3 interfaces. - [Tungsten — Xenomai 4 / EVL](https://www.linrt.com/en/tungsten.html): Modern dual-kernel real-time architecture based on EVL. - [BSP subscriptions and HelpDesk](https://www.linrt.com/en/subscriptions.html): Basic, Standard and Premium support models, source-code access and maintenance, with commercial terms agreed individually. ## Platforms and roadmap - NXP System-on-Module families considered: i.MX6QDL, i.MX8MP, i.MX91, i.MX93 and i.MX95. - LinRT 5.3 is planned for Q4 2026 with a CRA-Ready positioning; LinRT 5.x support is planned through the end of 2028. - LinRT 6.0 is planned for Q1 2027, including planned i.MX95 support.
